Formerly Principal of an award-winning international school in the Middle East, and with a long and varied career in school leadership both in the UK and internationally, Matthew now works closely with premium schools and school groups worldwide, helping them to use data wisely and well. His work with explores the intersection of wellbeing and DEIJB, through the prism of kind and ‘warm’, ‘street’, and slow data.
Matthew is also an advisor to or member of two different, international school boards of governors, an advisory board member for, a Thought Partner with, and an executive leadership coach with. A member of the and, and a regular contributor to the community (and to their 2023 book, ‘‘), he also uses his lived or directly observed experience of physical disability, mental ill health, neurodivergence and gender identity to help schools read the stories of the students and staff on their margins.
