Jeremy Lewis

Senior Consultant, Search Associates

Jeremy Lewis served as Head of School at ACS Egham International School in the UK from 2010-2022.  After leaving ACS Egham in 2022 he joined Search Associates as a Senior Consultant, focusing on leadership searches for international schools.

Prior to joining ACS Egham, Jeremy held leadership roles in Turkey, Vietnam, Hungary, Japan and Kuwait.  During his 38 years in international education, Jeremy acquired considerable experience in Recruitment, Accreditation, School Inspection, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Staff and Student Wellbeing, Strategic and Facilities Planning, Curriculum Development across all four IB programmes, Coaching and Mentoring, and School Governance.  As part of his leadership journey, Jeremy has also acquired considerable experience in crisis management.

During his career, Jeremy has served in a wide variety of leadership roles ranging from Curriculum Coordinator, Head of Department, IB Diploma Coordinator, High School Principal, to Deputy Head of School at the International School of Ho Chi Minh City.  Jeremy was Head of School at both Istanbul International Community School (2005-10) and ACS Egham International School (2010-22).  These leadership roles have been held in for profit and not for profit schools, and Jeremy’s last Headship saw him working within a group of schools that had acquired charitable status.

Jeremy earned a BA in Cultural Studies from Portsmouth University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Nottingham University.  He earned his Masters in Education from Bath University where his focus was on managing change in International Schools.  He was the Board Chair of the Central Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA), and he is a certified Coach.  Jeremy was a  Commissioner for International Education (NEASC) and he is currently relishing his role as a judge for the International School Awards (Âé¶¹´«Ã½).  Jeremy brings a love of education and passion for transformational change to the work that he is currently engaged in.
